My roomie has gone home, thank god. She's having a major flu, and I have been diligently avoiding the room because I really don't want to get sick less than a fortnight from the competition, especially since the room has bad ventilation and I can't open the window because there's a wasp buidling a freaking nest outside my window and leaving dead caterpillars all over the windowsill. (Yes, ick.) But she's been a really sweet roomie, and this morning I was pleasantly surprised to discover she credited me for this article for Comma (that's the SCI school mag) that I merely gave her some ideas for and didn't help to write. And anyway it's a good thing she went home. The incredible moron who plays the neverending song loop did it again, and this time, it was just Joan Osborne's "What If God Was One Of Us". Just that one song. And if you've ever heard that song you'd know how repetitive it is. Went over, did my best Snape-impression of "Would you please get a life and turn that thing off?" and there has been peace and quiet ever since. If my roomie had been here like she was the previous times he did that, she'd have stopped me again... probably afraid I'd commit homocide or something.
Random note: the field behind my block would be a great place to just lie down and look at the stars, if I had a canvas (or my poncho...hm...) to put on the grass in case it's muddy.
Watched Love Actually with the choir people today... pretty nice, not overly sweet and happy-ending-y. And Rataliens (especially Dreamcatcher you worry wart) I'm still watching it with you guys. I need Aefallen here with me so we can squeal properly over our beloved Potions Master *grin*
Have piano lesson tomorrow before this choir workshop thingy at NUS, and I am so dead. Was supposed to finish learning a Bach Prelude (half of my exam piece), and so obviously have not. Oh well... I'll just wing it, like I always do =P
